Today I’m sharing 3 fun project ideas using arch dies. I’ve used the Everyday Arch dies from Stampin’ Up! for these projects but if you’ve got other nesting arch dies, they will likely work.
My greetings for today’s projects all came from the With You in Mind stamp set. I love the bigger greetings in this set and it hadn’t been used much prior to this and was needing some love.
I shared all three of these cards in this weeks live. You can catch the replay linked below.
Gift Card Holder
I love how you can create a heart using two of the same sized arches. This one is a gift card holder but it would make a great pocket for ephemera, journaling or extra photos on a scrapbook layout.
Measurements:
- Pattern Paper (I used Lily Pond Lane): 3-1/2″ x 4-3/4″ (x2) cut with 3rd largest arch die
- Basic White: 2″ x 4″
- White Ribbon: 6″
- Twine: 8″
Thank You Card
This is such a fun way to use these dies. It does require a little bit of positioning in order to get the dies to cut just the card front but if you watch the video linked above, I walk you through how to do it.
Measurements:
- Thick White: 4-1/4″ x 11″ scored at 5-1/2″
- Pattern Paper (I used Everyday Skies): 3-3/4″ x 5″ cut with 2nd largest arch die; use the 2-1/4″ x 6″ piece leftover to cover the envelope flap
- Night of Navy: 4-1/8″ x 5-3/8″ (this piece could also be pattern paper)
- Basic White: 2″ x 3″ for stamping; 3-3/4″ x 5″ cut with 2nd largest arch die
- Silver & White Sheer Ribbon: 5″
- White Twine: 8″
- Two Tone Sparkle Gems: x3
Everyday Arch Box
For my third project I created this fun little box.
Measurements:
- Fresh Freesia: 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″ (x2); 5-3/8″ x 6-3/4″ score at 3″ from both 5-3/8″ ends, score at 3/4″ from both 6-3/4″ sides
- Basic White: die cut 5th smallest Round it All circle (or about 2-1/2″); 2″ x 3″ for stamping
- White Twine: 8″
- Fresh Freesia Seam Binding: 16″
- Sparkle Gems: x3
