When in Doubt Be a Unicorn Card

I’ve got a fun ‘When in doubt, be a unicorn’ card to share with you today. I love this saying from the Hippo Happiness stamp set.

This is the 4th project in my week long focus on this bundle and also the first one I created with it. I created this for a friends birthday. She loves unicorns and all things sparkly. It’ll be the perfect card to celebrate her. But the card doesn’t need to be a birthday card, it could really be used for many occasions.

I even considered using it for my daughter as a graduation card. The saying is fitting but she’s not really a unicorn/sparkly kind of girl so it wasn’t quite the right card for her.

I’ve used a new die set called the Basic Border Dies to create the clouds in the background. This die set will be available to order beginning May 4th. I think it’s going to be a much used die in my collection.

Measurements:

• Pool Party: 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ scored at 4-1/4″ and 3-3/4″ x 5″
• Basic White: 3-7/8″ x 5-1/8″; 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″ cut with cloud die and then add blending to the rest; 2″ x 3″ and 4″ x 5-1/4″ (for the inside)
• Rainbow Glimmer: 3-1/2″ x 3-1/2″
• White Twine: 20″
