I’ve got a cute Valentine card to share with you for this months blog hop using the Love & Happiness bundle from the January to June 2022 Mini Catalogue.
This bundle includes a hybrid embossing folder. A hybrid embossing folder is one that will cut and emboss at the same time. The larger heart die fits nicely into the embossing folder to cut out the centre.
I combined the bundle with the Sweet Talk dsp to create this fun card. It’s not often that I pair purple and red together but it works! I love pulling new colour combinations from our dsp. Seeing the colours together in a patterned paper gives me the confidence to put unexpected colours together.
If you look closely, you can see that I added a bit of highland heather ink around the edges of the embossed piece, using a blending brush.
