I’m sharing a simple fun fold using the painted poppies stamp set with you today. This card was inspired by a swap I received from Cyndi Willis. I haven’t seen this fold before so definitely wanted to recreate it with my own twist.
Stepping out of my comfort zone and using a colour I don’t often use – purple. I don’t know why I don’t use it, in these dark, rich shades it’s quite pretty. Maybe I should challenge myself to use more purple in February.
I LOVE this Painted Poppies set. You can create such a nice variety of looks depending on how you add colour to the flowers. On Tuesday in my VIP group I used the same stamp set but coloured in the poppy with Blends – it gives the flower such a different feel. If you aren’t part of my Stamped Treasures VIP Facebook group, you can join here. Every Tuesday evening I do an exclusive FB live.
Anyway… back to the card. Here’s a look at the card when it’s opened.
In the Facebook live I used a different patterned paper than the one in the photo. Check out the video to see that version and find out all the measurements.
Thanks for watching!
