Welcome to the Scrapbooking Global September 2021 blog hop. This months theme is masculine layouts. I looked through my stack of printed photos and had these four 3″ x 4″ photos that I thought would be perfect for this months theme.
As part of the Scrapbooking Global design team we participate in a monthly blog hop and challenges but anyone can join in if they’d like. We’d love to have you join us! Be sure to join the Scrapbooking Global – Stampin’ Up! Facebook Group so you know when the sign up starts for our next hop.
The Details…
To create the background, I used the packaging technique. If you aren’t familiar with this technique you can watch how it’s done here. Once it was dry I splattered with some black ink. I feel like this background is a great one for outdoor/masculine photos. It’s rough, messy and fun.
I was looking through my stamps and dies to figure out what I wanted to use to embellish my layout and came across the sheep dies. I knew the sheep wouldn’t work but some of the complimentary dies in the set would be perfect. So I used the balloon, the clouds and the flag as little accents.
The word happy is from the Christmas Cheer dies. It’s a perfect title builder for scrapbook layouts!
This layout also follows the day 2 sketch from 30 Days of Sketches with Christy’s Beautiful Life challenge.
Thanks so much for visiting! Head on over to Marga’s blog to see what she created. Enjoy hopping along to see the beautiful projects that everyone else created!
Have a creative day!
