I’m sure you’ve seen lots of samples using My Digital Studio (MDS) on all the wonderful blogs out there. I haven’t had as much time as I’d like to play around with it but have done a couple projects. This particular project is a card I made for my downline group swap. Well this is how it started out anyway. I love how you can change the opacity of the images, which is what I did on the brocade. I ‘stamped’ it with more mustard and then lightened it to soften it a bit. I then printed it on my printer and added a few things:)
My Digital Studio Card & Christmas Wish Lists
This is how the actual swap card ended up. Once I printed the base, I cut it to 4″x5-1/4″. Because the stamps on MDS are true to size, they match any of the coordinating stamp sets. So I took the two ornaments from the Tree Trimmings set and stamped them onto Very Vanilla cardstock and cut them out. I attached them using dimensionals, inserted a couple brads and then mounted my card front to the card base. I love how it turned out and it still has the dimension that I love about traditional paper crafting!
Here’s a closer look at the card. My next project is a calendar. That is going to be the family Christmas gift this year. I can make it once but print multiple copies! Love it!
