May 2020 Paper Pumpkin Scrapbook Layout

I’m sharing another May 2020 Paper Pumpkin scrapbook layout today and I love this one even more than the one I created for you on Friday! You can see that one here.

The rainbow image in this kit is so fabulous. A background was created using it and one of the greetings from the set for a layout to document how proud I am of my daughter and how she’s handled the pandemic. Out of our family, although we’ve all been affected, she has been the one who’s lost the most. She lost her job – one that she loved,  and she ended up not being able to finish her 3rd year nursing clinicals. That’s in addition to all the other restrictions the pandemic has caused to be put in place. In the whole scheme of things this is nothing compared to how others have been affected. However, for this 21 year old – it has been difficult.

Despite all her loss she has taught herself how to knit, longboard, use power tools, paint and even started a side business with her boyfriend – Boards by Jo. They bring old, worn longboards and skateboards back to life by sanding them down, repairing them and then Jordyn paints them. Take a look at some of what she’s done – aren’t they amazing?!

Anyway back to the layout…

Everything I used, apart from the inks, 12×12 card stock and patterned paper, and a heart punch, is from the kit. I even used the pink tissue paper from the kit to back my photo!

I am on a mission to use up all the pieces from this kit. For that reason, I won’t allow myself to work on anything else until that mission is accomplished. Stay tuned later this week for a YouTube video recap on all that I ended up creating with this fabulous Kit In Color Paper Pumpkin kit.
