It’s fun fold Friday! I’ve got a super cute fun fold birthday card to share with you today. I’m not exactly sure what this fold is called but we’ll call it a window double fold card lol.
To create this card I used several products that will soon be retiring. I’m sad to see them go.
- The Hey Birthday Chick stamp set (on sale for $23.20)
- Birthday Chick Dies (sale price $18.50 reg. $37)
- And the Tasteful Labels dies (on sale for $33.60 reg. $42) are a staple.
I love having lots of different label shapes to choose from when I create and the Tasteful Labels dies have so many different shapes. These products are only available while supplies last so be sure to pick them up soon if they are on your wish list!
If you’d like to create this card, here are the measurements and there’s a video towards the bottom of this post.
Measurements:
- Granny Apple Green: 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ scored at 4-1/4″
- Basic White: 5-1/4″ x 8″ scored at 4″ and 6″; largest Tasteful Label shape and scraps for stamping
- Pattern Party DSP: 4″ x 5-1/4″ and 1-3/4″ x 5″
- Basic Black: 2″ x 3″ for die cutting
- Black Twine: 8″
- Matte Black Dots: x3
The card opens to reveal such fun surprises inside. This Pattern Party dsp is one of my all time favourites. The colours are so fun and vibrant – perfect for birthday celebrations.
I just love this little chick being carried away by the balloon. It makes me smile!
After creating the card, I had a couple pieces leftover so I created this matching gift tag.
