I’ve got a couple Irresistible Blooms card ideas to share with you today. This suite of products is absolutely stunning. I’ve already gone through more than 1/2 a package of the dsp. I might need to order another package!
I absolutely fell in love with this idea for a background when I saw it on a sample that Stampin’ Up! shared using the Rhino Ready stamp set. Check out the sample here. You could recreate it using any line art image but since I’ve been playing with the beautiful Irresistible Blooms stamp set, I knew I would use it to recreate the look.
The background was created with Stampin’ Blends markers! So simple and creative.
Measurements:
- Thick Basic White: 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ scored at 4-1/4″
- Basic White: 4″ x 5-1/4″ and scraps for stamping
- Soft Sea Foam: scraps for die cutting the leaves
- Soft Sea Foam Ribbon: 12″ (frayed)
- Loose Frosted Dots: x3
For the second card, I decided to create a square card. Square cards are so fun but I don’t make many of them because we don’t sell envelopes to fit. However, I happen to have a few 5-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ envelopes left from a project from a few years ago, so thought I would give it a go.
I cannot say enough about this Hello, Irresistible dsp. It has got to be one of my top 5 paper packs that SU! has ever released. I love the colours, I love BOTH sides and I love every. single.pattern. This is so rare for me lol.
Measurements:
- Petal Pink: 5-1/4″ x 10-1/2″ scored at 5-1/4″ and 3/4″ x 6″ piece for the envelope flap
- Basic White: 5″ x 5″ (inside); 4″ x 4″ cut with the circular die from the Irresistible Blooms dies and scraps of white for stamping
- Hello, Irresistible DSP: 4-1/4″ x 4-1/4″ and a piece for the envelope flap (if desired)
- Soft Sea Foam: 4-3/8″ x 4-3/8″ and scraps for die cutting the leaves
- Soft Sea Foam Ribbon: 12″ (frayed)
- Loose Frosted Dots: x3
You can catch the replay for both of these cards in the video below.
And if you are looking for even more inspiration using these products, be sure to check out this months Irresistible Blooms class to go.
