Welcome to the IDEAS July 2020 blog hop where I will be sharing a creative punch technique. Our theme this month is Punch It Up. You’ll find as you hop along that some participants will share their tutorial projects, others will share a peek and then others, will share a completely different project using the same technique.
Each of us features a project using a punch. Punches are one of my favourite tools. They are so quick, easy and really quite versatile. I’ve chosen to share a fun technique using a few different sized circle punches.
The project I’m sharing in this post isn’t the project I’m sharing in the tutorial but it does feature the same technique.

In addition to the following items, I also used the following retired items, however these items can easily be replaced with something similar you already own: 1/4″ ; 1/2″ ; 1″ and 1 3/4″ circle punches; black bakers twine and whisper white flax ribbon.
