Today I’m sharing this happy little things celebrate card. I’m currently on my way to Houston for Stampin’ Up!’s OnStage event and this is the card I made as my swap. I was short on time but managed to make 22 cards. So I will come back with 22 different card ideas. I’ll be sure to film a reel on Instagram and share them with you:)
I love the Happy Little Things stamp set with the larger words and then scripty words that you can choose to go along with them. It’s a really versatile set with greetings for Christmas, Get Well, Birthday, Congratulations, Sympathy and even a couple more generic greetings.
The word celebrate is from the Happy Little Things stamp set, which is an online exclusive item. To create an ombre look I stamped the word twice in the following colours: bubble bath, fresh freesia, highland heather and gorgeous grape. Then I took the solid word celebrate and inked the top portion in highland heather and the bottom in gorgeous grape and used a sponge dauber to smooth the transition between the two colours.
Measurements:
- Highland Heather: 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ scored at 4-1/4″
- Gorgeous Grape: 1/2″ x 5-1/2″ (x2)
- Basic White: 3-3/4″ x 5-1/2″ and 3/4″ x 4″
- Ribbon: about 6″
- Twine: 8″
If you’d like to see the entire line of online exclusives, you’ll find them here.
Until next time,
