Today I’m sharing the Frosted Gingerbread card that inspired this scrapbook layout. Cards are often my source of inspiration when I scrapbook. But it can go the other way too – a layout can inspire a card.
The card uses all the same products and even follows the same layout. It’s simply created on a smaller scale. The subtle pattern on the bottom is applied using a stencil and a blending brush. The red strip of dsp is torn for added texture.
This will be one of the make & takes we offer at the Great Canadian Scrapbook Carnival this weekend. We will be there on Friday from 9am to 9pm and on Saturday until 6pm. If you live in the Edmonton, Sherwood Park or surrounding areas we’d love for you to stop by Millennium Place and come see us!
You can find all the Great Canadian Scrapbook Carnival information here. Here’s a look at our booth. We are so excited about all that we have to offer!
