Welcome to another Memory Keeping Monday where I’m sharing a layout that was inspired by the April 2019 Sketchy Challenge held by Creative Scrapbooker Magazine.
The layout I’m sharing with you actually fits the bill for both classes in my Let’s Get Series – Let’s Get Sketchy and Let’s Get Scrappy with Multiples.
The first thing I did was create my own background paper using crushed curry ink and the fabulous camera image from the Capture the Good stamp set. Instead of using the circles on the sketch I chose to stamp an angled background.
I had 4 photos that I wanted to include but still wanted to stick to the format of the sketch. The photos are pretty close up so I couldn’t trim them smaller than about 4″ x 4″ so I had to get a bit creative.
To solve this problem I created a little flap to open under the middle photo to reveal the fourth photo. I added the word ‘open’ and hinted at another photo in my journaling.
