I’ve had the idea for a full page shaker scrapbook layout in the back of my mind for months. At my retreat in October I finally had the opportunity to put it together. I knew exactly what photo I wanted to use – a beautiful photo of our tree out front. I love to scrapbook fall photos!
This layout uses leftover Paper Pumpkin pieces from an older kit (2017 I think). The photo mats were cut from a leftover envelope, the leaves and the twine are also from that kit.
I love using my Paper Pumpkin kits for scrapbook layouts. There are always extra pieces and I love that there are so many different die cut pieces which are perfect for layering and tucking. You can find a winter themed layout I created using the October 2019 kit here, a Halloween themed page using the September 2019 kit here, and a beach layout using the June 2019 kit here.

The details…
I used my Silhouette Cameo to cut the leaf shape from a 12×12 piece of whisper white card stock. The back for the die cut was covered with a large piece of a window sheet. I sponged another piece of whisper white card stock with various colours of ink (crushed curry, merry merlot and cajun craze).
Because I was out at the retreat when I created this layout I borrowed sequins from a few different people so that I’d have a nice variety of colours that coordinated. One of the reasons I love retreats – there is always someone who has something you need or new things to try.
It needed a bit of splatter so I added some gold and then did a freehand border around the edges with my black Stampin’ Write Marker.
I am so happy with the way this fall shaker scrapbook layout turned out. I will definitely be doing another full page shaker layout in the future.
Have a creative day!
