I am having so much fun playing with the Everything is Rosy medley! Today I’m sharing a card that started as a standard flip open card with the inside decorated but then I decided the inside was pretty enough to be a card on it’s own and cut it apart.
Initially this was the inside of the card (without the greeting) but after adding the tag to the pocket on the front of the card, I decided it didn’t need anything on the inside. So I cut the card in half and thought this would make a great little thank you note card. It’s so simple but that vine die just adds so much to it don’t you think?
Look how pretty that paper is! I’m not a huge fan of the colour pink but I ADORE this paper so much.
To create the pocket on this card I cut two pieces of patterned paper that measure 3″ x 4″ and then cut them diagonally. If you want both pieces to have the same pattern you’ll need to pay close attention to how you cut the second piece. I just flipped it over so the other pattern was face up and cut it the same way.
I still have lots of this medley left on my desk to play with. I’ve got a fun project to share with you on Friday’s Facebook live. See you then!
Still a couple days left to sign up for the Everything is Rosy card and/or scrapbook class. Here’s a peek at some of the projects.
You’ll find all the information on how to reserve your spot in class or to go here. And you only need 1/2 of a kit to participate in BOTH classes, so get together with a friend join me in class! Note: tutorial will be available to purchase, hopefully by Sunday.
Have a creative day!
