Today I’m sharing how to make a double flap fold card. This is a simple fun fold card that can easily be adapted for any occasion.
Measurements:
- Lost Lagoon: 5-1/2″ x 6-1/2″ scored at 2-1/4″ from one short end; 3-1/2″ x 3-1/4″ scored at 1/2″ from one short end; 2″ x 3″ piece for die cutting
- Winter Meadow DSP: 2″ x 5-1/4″ (tree pattern); 2-1/2″ x 3-1/4″
- Basic White: 4″ x 5-1/4″ and about 2-1/4″ circle (cut with Stylish Shapes Dies
- Smoky Slate: 2″ x 3″ for die cutting
- Ribbon: 8″
- Gems: x2
To assemble the card simply fold both of the lost lagoon pieces along the score lines. Attach the 1/2″ side of the smaller piece to the back of the white card stock. Then that to the inside of the card base. Here’s a look at the card open.
Once the base is assembled, it’s just a matter of decorating with the remaining bits and pieces.
I hope you enjoyed this simple double flap fold card.
Until next time,
