For this weeks memory keeping Monday post, I’m sharing this day at the farm 6″ x 8″ layout. I don’t scrapbook in this size very often unless I’m doing a themed album. However, I do have an album that I call my ‘anything goes album’ that is 6″ x 8″.
In this album I include any of the random photos that I come across that don’t work in my regular albums. It really is a fun album because I use whatever I want and the photos aren’t in any particular order. It’s literally an anything goes album.
This photo (and it’s frame) is from MANY years ago and, for the longest time, was a magnet on my file cabinet in my office. However, when we moved, I no longer had a file cabinet in my office so this got tucked away in a drawer. I came across it last week and knew exactly what I was going to do with it.
Because the photo was taken on a trip to the farm, the Day at the Farm DSP was the perfect fit. It’s a simple layout and came together really quickly. You can find a reel showing you how it’s done on Instagram (@sherrystamps). I love the layers of scraps under the photo. This is a fun way to use up the bits and pieces we always have hanging around.
I don’t have the coordinating bundle so I simply fussy cut images from the dsp to use as accents on my layout. So fun! This dsp is one of the Sale-a-Bration offerings. You can grab it for free with a qualifying purchase but only until February 28th.
