It is cold and snowy outside today. One of those days that makes me happy I work from home:) I drive my kids to school everyday but it’s only about a 10 minute drive so doesn’t take long and I’m back home. I’m so thankful to have a job that allows me to work from home.
I apologize that my posts have been sporadic. We are still undergoing some kitchen reno’s. The flooring is done – apart from the baseboards, most of the painting has been done and I picked up the cupboards yesterday. I didn’t get home until after my kids were already in bed so when my daughter saw all the boxes in the front room this morning – her comment was ” Wow that’s a lot of cardboard”. My son’s comment was “It must be Christmas”. Well it is for me sort of:) I’ve been waiting a long time for new cupboards! I will be working on putting those up on Friday while my kids are at school. I’m so excited. I can’t wait to see the end result. I will post some photos when the kitchen is complete.
Anyway enough babbling – on to todays project. I was asked to design some bridal shower invites for a client whose wedding invites I designed. This was one of the samples. Her bridesmaids wanted something pink, with some brown and with either a high heal or cosmopolitan. I think it turned out pretty cute. I created two other designs as well, which I will share with you over the next week or so.If you have any questions about this project or any others, please post a comment – I’d be happy to answer it for you.Stay warm!SherryClick here to order Stampin’ Up! product online.Supplies:Stamps: Cheers to You (114944)Inks: Basic Black(100082) and Rose Red (100063) stampin’ write markersCardstock: Chocolate Chip (102128); Whisper White (100730); Rose Red (102544); Pretty in Pink (100459)Accessories: Trio Flower punch (109183); 1-3/4″ circle punch (112004); Eyelet border punch (113692); 2-Way glue pen (100425); Dazzling Diamonds glitter (102023); silver brads (104336); Big Shot die cut machine (113439); Finial Press embossing folder (115963); Pennant die (113483).
