Today I’m sharing a couple cards featuring Stampin’ Up!’s A Touch of Ink – simple & stepped up. Designing a card is sometimes what takes the longest. Why not take the same design and tweak it? Change the colours, the stamp set or step it up.
I’m sharing two cards that use the same basic supplies but one is stepped up just a bit. They are both beautiful but one is just a bit more involved.
The Touch of Ink stamp set is one you can earn for free with a $120 purchase until February 28th, 2021.
This first card is a simple one layer card with a beautiful butterfly focal point.
For the second card I took the same colours and same card design but I added a bit of texture and a few layers. The white layer has some texture paste and is a bit distressed with some torn edges. Then the leaves were stamped on a layer of soft sea foam instead of the card base.
Catch the FB live replay below to see how I created the white layer.
I don’t know if I can pick a favourite, can you?
