I was so excited to receive my Everything is Rosy medley on Friday and retreat attendees can attest to that. I don’t think they’ve seen me move so fast to answer the door when the bell rang on Friday morning. I played with this collection of products all weekend… well in between making meals, teaching a class and tending to croppers. I’m just going to tell you right now – the photos do not do this medley justice. It is SO pretty in person!!
As I sat down to create my layout for yesterday (working on my layout a day challenge in May), I had all these pretty scraps sitting there calling my name. Instead of throwing them out, I decided to create a layout with them. I used a sponge brayer and navy ink to add a bit of colour behind the photo and then added splatters of the GORGEOUS rose gold shimmer paint.
This weekend on Facebook and Instagram I shared a masculine top 5 layout I created for my son using the medley. I had to challenge myself to come up with at least one masculine layout using it. Here it is here.
This masculine layout is one of the layouts we will be creating at my Everything is Rosy scrapbook class on the 23rd. AND a little update – I’m only using 1/2 of the consumables included in the medley so if you wanted to share the medley with a friend and both attend the class, you CAN! You’ll just have to work out who gets to keep the stamp set, dies and shimmer paint!
You can find all the details for the class here. The deadline to register is May 10th, unless the medley sells out sooner.
Register for the Everything is Rosy class.
Just a reminder that today is the last day to register for the Animal Expedition class. You’ll find all the details here. Come create 4 layouts using this adorable patterned paper before it’s gone for good!
Have a creative day!
