Textured Notes Card Ideas

Today I’m sharing a couple textured notes card ideas. The textured notes bundle is part of Stampin’ Up!’s botanical textures suite of products. This suite has a neutral colour palette that allows the botanical textures to be the star of the show. The textured stamps are great for adding subtle sophistication to your card making designs, the dies for making photo backgrounds for scrapbook layouts and the paper for adding interest to treat packaging.

This first card used the botanical textures dsp which is a botanical themed set of black & white patterned papers. Some of these papers lend themselves to adding colour. However, for this card, I chose to go with the black & white colour palette.

Measurements:

• Thick Basic White: 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ scored at 4-1/4″
• Basic Black: 3″ x 3-1/4″
• Botanical Textures: 3″ x 4-1/2″ cut with 3rd largest rectangle
• Smoky Slate: 2″ x 3-1/2″ cut with 3rd smallest rectangle
• Basic White: 1″ x 2-1/2″ cut with smallest rectangle
• Black Twine: 8″
• Matte Dots: x3

The second card highlights the woven textures dsp which is a paper pack full of a variety of pattern papers in different woven textures patterns.

Measurements:

• Early Espresso: 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ scored at 4-1/4″ ; 3-3/4″ x 5″ embossed with mini corrugated folder
• Woven Textures DSP: 2″ x 3-1/2″ cut with 3rd smallest rectangle
• Basic White: 4″ x 5-1/4″ (inside); 3-1/2″ x 4-1/4″  for stamping and 1″ x 2-1/2″ cut with smallest rectangle
• Linen Thread: 8″
• Pecan Dots: x2
