For this weeks memory keeping Monday post I’m sharing this 6×8 pocket page layout. The photos are from Stampin’ Up!’s OnStage in Houston back in March. This is a combination 6×8 and 4×8 layout for my 2024 album.
I started with the Full of Life DSP, a fun, colourful paper pack. This was my first project using the dsp and coordinating bundle. It was also the first one I created after being away from my craft room for a week. I was feeling a little rusty.
There’s this great splotch stamp in the Friends for Life stamp set that I knew I wanted to use. So I created a border down the side of the left page. In hindsight I wish I had just focused on the oranges, pinks and yellows so that it matched the right hand side a little better. But it’s done and done is better than perfect.
I really wanted to use the heart die as a stencil so I decided to create a lift up to hold my journalling. This next photo shows it lifted. It’s the perfect way to get extra space for photos or journaling.
You’ll be seeing lots more of this collection over the next month or two. It’s the one I’m using for my display at the upcoming Creative Carnival. If you are local to the Edmonton, Sherwood Park or surrounding areas, we’d love to have you join us. Find all the details here.
Until next time,
