Today I’m sharing this 6″ x 8″ adventure layout. This is another one of those random photos that I had tucked into my anything goes album. I love scrapbooking these photos.
I decided to pull out some products that will be retiring so I can get a bit more use out of them. Here’s a list of what I’m using that is only available while supplies last.
Retiring Products
- Brick & Mortar 3D Embossing Folder
- Happy Forest Friends DSP
- Vellum Layering Designs
- Stitched Rectangles
- Matte Black Dots
I wanted to create a subtle background on the mossy meadow. So I die cut three different sized frames using the Stitched Rectangles dies by nesting them inside one another. Then played around with a fun pattern to frame the photo. Because it’s the same colour as the background it’s a nice subtle addition and doesn’t take away from the photo.
To add a bit more texture, I tore the bottoms of the patterned vellum and dsp. Between that, the embossed curry card stock, the wood element, the twine and the acrylic title there’s lots of different textures on this layout.
Before I sign off for today, just a reminder that beginning April 4th a selection of retiring products will be marked down up to 60% off. Click the links below to check out the retiring products, all of which are available while supplies last.
