For this weeks memory keeping Monday post I’m sharing a Pick of the Crop Paper Pumpkin alternate. This month I’ve taken the June 2022 Pick of the Crop Paper Pumpkin kit and combined it with the Love This Memory Notebook kit to create a fun layout with a tip-in for my Montreal album.
I was so excited when SU! released a travelers notebook (TN) kit back in June. This size is perfect for a themed notebook – a trip, summer holidays, making lists, or documenting a special event. You don’t have to include photos, it could be more about journaling but I love to include photos. Mine will be used to document our recent trip to Montreal.
When I pulled out the June Paper Pumpkin kit and saw the die cut pieces, I knew exactly which photos I wanted to use them with. But I had lots of photos that I wanted to include and didn’t think the two pages would be enough. To solve this problem I created what’s called a tip-in.
The Details…
A tip-in is a flap that either lifts up or out that provides you more real estate – more room for photos or journaling. This photo is of my two page spread with the tip-in closed.
And this one is with it open.
To account for all the photos I wanted to include on this ‘Around Town’ spread, I added a pocket with a large tag. This allowed me to add photos on the front and back and still space for journaling.
I love how it all turned out and it was an easy way to include lots of photos and make it pretty! If you’d like to see how this all comes together, you can catch the FB live replay here. Although the full Pick of the Crop Paper Pumpkin kit is no longer available, you can get the refill kit, if you are a paper pumpkin subscriber. The refill kit will include everything except the stamps and ink spot. I’ve linked it in the supply list below.
If you live in Canada and don’t already have a demonstrator, I’d love for you to shop with me.
Until next time,
