Today I’m sharing just one of the MANY ways of using patterned paper scraps on a layout. I’m a big believer in using up as much of my patterned paper before it retires. Towards the end of a catalogue there’s usually some pretty slim pickings if it was a paper pack that I loved. The Snail Mail dsp is not exception – it is the CUTEST patterned paper.
Since most of my stamp room is packed away in storage until we take possession of our new house or until my preorder arrives, I’ve got minimal supplies to choose from. But you don’t need a lot of supplies to create beautiful projects.
Today I’m sharing this simple layout using products from the Snail Mail suite. I started by cutting 1″ strips of patterned paper in various lengths and then adhered them to a white 12″ x 12″ piece of card stock. This created such a fun, colourful background.
The stamps in the Snailed It set are so adorable, I had to include a couple of them on my layout. I thought this would make a great layout to celebrate my daughter finishing up her 4th year of nursing!
If you love this suite of products, don’t miss out on this months Snail Mail class to go. We are making the CUTEST cards!
