Today I’m sharing how to create a fun stamped background. This type of background is great for cards or even as a subtle background behind a photo cluster on a layout.
Stampin’ Up!’s Hydrangea Haven stamp set is a great set for creating this type of background because it has several solid images in the set that work perfectly.
But you can use any solid image stamp, the key is to stamp off first to make it a bit more subtle. I encourage you to give it a try. Play around with different types of images and see what you like.
I created this card in todays FB live, you can catch the replay below.
Measurements:
- Rococo Rose: 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ scored at 4-1/4″ and scrap for hydrangea and inside flowers
- Gray Granite: 4″ x 5-1/4″
- Basic White: 4″ x 5-1/4″ for the inside and 3-7/8″ x 5-1/8″
- Old Olive: scrap for leaves
- Linen Thread: 6″
- Pastel Pearls: x3
I carried the background idea to the inside of the card as well.
Have a creative weekend!
