Today I’m sharing 1 card layout and 5 cards! The design process sometimes takes longer than actually creating the card. If you find a card design you love there’s no reason you can’t use it over and over. Today’s post is exactly that.
The first I like you a latte card was the initial card that I created. I LOVE it! I used the Warm Hugs stamp set from the Stampin’ Up! August to December Mini Catalogue. Although it’s a Christmasy stamp set – it’s easy to create non Christmasy cards.
For the second card I decided to switch up the colours. It’s amazing what a difference that can make!
For the third card, I kept everything the same as the second and only switched up the background. Even that small change makes a big difference. Earlier this week over on my Facebook page I shared the 2nd and 3rd cards and asked which everyone preferred. The winner was this one hands down.
The last two cards I made in this weeks FB live – you’ll find the video towards the end of this post. For the 4th card I went back to a stamped background, added in a gold hoop from the annual catalogue and that beautiful real red braided linen trim.
For the last card I decided to change the orientation to landscape. I also through in some patterned paper and added a bit of a wash to the background to mimic the background.
It’s amazing how one card design can yield so many different looks by simply changing out a few supplies. Towards the end of the video I share a 6th sample and details on how you can win a couple prizes.
I hope you enjoyed today 1 card layout 5 cards post! Have a creative weekend.
