If you’ve been following my blog for awhile you know that I love kits. Just like Paper Pumpkin I was excited to create some alternate ideas with the Joy of Giving tag kit from the holiday catalogue.
This kit includes everything you need to create 30 tags (10 each in 3 designs), an exclusive stamp set, a poppy parade stampin’ spot, a clear block and some dimensional and mini glue dots.
When I get a kit I usually like to make at least one of each of the projects. It gives me a feel of the kit and what’s included. Often times playing with the products allows me to consider alternate ideas as I create, without having to think much about what I’m doing. Plus it lets me see the elements in the kit.
Even if you don’t make holiday tags, this kit could still be a great option! I converted one of the tags into a card by simply adding a note card and envelope! You could do this with any of these tags.
Pick up the Joy of Giving Tag Kit and a package of mini note cards & envelopes and you have everything you need to make 20 cards, 10 tags, plus the leftover pieces, an exclusive stamp set and an ink spot!
Want to step it up a bit more? Here’s an alternate that was inspired by a card by Tami White.
For this particular project I used a piece that isn’t required to make the tags and the adorable stamp set. You might as well come up with ideas for using all the fabulous bits & pieces in the kit right?
Even after finishing up everything in the kit, you can still keep creating with the stamp set. There are some cute images and greetings in this set.
Even the packaging is fabulous! Use some of the elements from the kit to make it cute and you’ve got perfect packaging!
I shared these projects on todays FB live. Here’s the replay, if you’d like to watch it.
