Today I’m sharing a 2-page wedding layout that I created for my daughters wedding album. She got married 3 years ago – it’s time to finish up this project so I can make some space for another one. I’m really hoping to finish them off in the next couple months. So I’m sure you’ll see a few more wedding themed layouts in the coming weeks.
The layouts are pretty simple so that I can get them done. Plus it’s the photos that are meant to be the star of the layout so there’s no need to go overboard.
The pattern paper I used on this layout is one from my stash from Close to My Heart. It’s one of the patterns from the Love Story collection. I loved it because it was a simple crumb cake and white colour combo. I managed to stretch the one sheet of pattern paper by gutting the inside of the 12×12 and using the inside piece on the right page. Even the branding strip (diagonal stripe pattern) got used!
The die cut flowers are from the Charming Day dies. I love the white on white but felt like it just needed a bit of a pop so I aded a bit of ink blending using a blending brush and crumb cake ink.
Notice the ribbon on the tag? It’s a fun new ribbon that will be released in September, called Irregular Weave Trim.
I hope you enjoyed this weeks memory keeping Monday post!
Until next time,
