As promised, I have a few photos to share with you from our leadership trip. One of the things that Stampin’ Up! does for their leaders is plan a Manager’s Reception. Every year it’s something different depending on where leadership is held. This year – we had the whole Wizarding World of Harry Potter to ourselves. It was AWESOME – no line ups, great food and wonderful company – definitely my way to do a theme park!
I spent the evening with some friends from our We CAN Stamp group – Tricia Schaelow, Karina Chin, Gail Kelso and Joanne Rolston.
It was so much fun to be there at night, it really added to the whole effect of the evening. In this part of the park, there are only 3 rides. I am NOT a ride person but I’m happy to say that I went on two of them! One of them was a simulator type ride – it was incredible and I’m glad they convinced me to go on it. So fun!
Here are a few more random shots. This is me in the 3 Broomsticks restaurant, holding my butter beer. Mmmmm… So delicious. I told the kids we would try to find a recipe and make it at home because they would LOVE it!
If you’ve watched the movies, you’ve seen the floating candles.
The last couple shots were from Honeydukes – I took these photos for my kids.
There were so many great things to see but because we were there at night, really hard to get some good shots.
I hope you enjoyed a little glimpse into my Harry Potter experience. Thanks for stopping by!
Sherry
