Well most of the hustle and bustle of the holiday season is now over and it’s time to relax. Quick question – when does everyone usually take down their tree and holiday decorations? Normally we leave ours up until after our annual boxing day event and then it comes down. However, this year, I’m sad to say, we didn’t even get a tree up! We did get some decorations put out and hung our stockings but no tree. Our month of December was crazy busy and the first day we had where all 4 of us were home was December 23rd! And because we were leaving on the 24th for Mom and Dad’s we just thought why bother? It was a little disappointing seeing that this was our first Christmas in our new house, but we will just have to make up for it next year! It was funny because Eathan’s comment when he walked into my parents place was sigh “this is the first Christmas tree I’ve seen all year”. He definitely makes me smile:)
Anyway enough babbling, you’re here for some inspiration. Check out this beautiful packaging that a gift was in for our team gift exchange. I’m sorry I don’t know whose it was to give credit to but it is gorgeous – let me know if it was yours. I apologize about the busy background – it really takes away from the project but my kitchen has the best lighting when I end up taking photos in the evening.
Wouldn’t this make great packaging for a hostess gift for a new years event or event for a birthday gift in January! I love snowflakes and wintery themed projects! I’ve included a list of supplies below.
Thanks for stopping by!
