I know I said I would post this months stamp club projects today, but that will have to wait until tomorrow. I decided to post these photos instead…
These are a couple of the projects that I will be doing for an upcoming lunch & learn in October. The snowflake card is made using two of the In Colors – Blue Bayou and Soft Sky. This is a fabulous color combination that I use so often! I wasn’t too sure about the Snowfall set in the Fall & Winter Collection because I sooo loved the snowflake set from last years catalogue. But the more I use this one, the more I like it. And I love that the Snow Blossom punch works perfectly with the smallest snowflake! The centre of the snowflake has a rhinestone brad – it’s always nice to add a bit of bling!
The second project is a gift tag, the photo didn’t turn out very well, I still need a lot of practice on getting my photos to represent the project well. The tag is done on whisper white cardstock with the small snowflake from Punch Pals stamped all over in River Rock. I then used a combination of punches on the focal point, added a bit of the Dashing DSP, stamped a greeting and Voila – a quick and easy tag. The punches help to make this a really quick project which is key for the lunch & learn because we have only an hour to complete three projects. I still have a birthday card to plan but this is a good start.
Until next time,
