Todays project is the second one that we did at my hostess appreciation event in June. I love this card and got the idea from Amanda Coughlin. I first saw it on the cruise and had to come home and try to figure out how it was made. It is adorable.
The coconut shape was just free hand drawn on a piece of cardboard and I used that as a template. The pattern for the coconut is the Square Lattice embossing folder (119976). The umbrella was created by just fan folding a 3-1/2″x3-1/2″ piece of the Island Oasis dsp (117173) from the Summer Mini, then folded in half with a toothpick stuck in between. The flower was created using the Island Floral die (118871) and the stamen in the centre is the snowflake punch.
Amanda has a video showing you how to create it on her blog – be sure to check it out.
Thanks for stopping by today!
