My Mom’s birthday is tomorrow and she and Dad are coming for dinner tonight to celebrate so I’ve been rushing around trying to get everything done. One of the things on my to do list was to go to Ardrossan to pick up the last of her gifts. Shawna Horton with Country Charms makes some gorgeous jewelry so I picked up some earings to match the necklace I bought my Mom for Christmas and a little treat for myself:)
Of course, I had to come up with a good gift wrapping solution for the earings. The other day while cleaning my craft area I came across these little plain white jewelry boxes that I had gotten from one of my downline – Kelly who works at Creative Packaging. So I thought they would be perfect. I simply used my SU! Anywhere glue stick to adhere some scraps of the Spring Silhouettes dsp, added a bit of ribbon, an accent with a bit of bling and Voila! I really like the way
it turned out.
This is the piece that I picked up for myself. If you are interested in seeing more of Shawna’s jewelry, she will have table at Wye Community Hall on April 19th. If you can’t make it there, let me know and I can pass on her information to you.
Until next time,
